Morgan Weistling의 작품세계  Morgan Weistling라는 미국 아티스트입니다. 그에게는 Jo Ann Peralta라는 아름다운 화가 아내가 있었고.. 재미있는건 Morgan의 부모님 또한 화가부부였다고..   미술공부를 하던 시절엔 Fred Fixler라는 일러스트레이터를 만났고, 그에게 좋은 멘토역할을 해주었다고 합니다.   미술공부에 대한 열정으로 공부를 계속하고 싶어했지만... 재정적으론 안정적이지 못하여 어렵게 공부를 했다고 합니다. 그는 파트타임 경비원으로 일하면서도 학구열을 불태웠다고 합니다. 그러던중 유명한 일러스트레이터를 만나게 되어 그의 소개로   헐리우드의 영화포스트 제작자로 고용이 되었고, 14년동안이나 다양한 분야의 일러스트레이션을 선보이게 됩니다.   일러스트레이터로 성공한 그는 회화로 전향하였으며, 첫번째 전시회에서 26점을 선보였는데.. 대성황으로 그날밤 모두 팔려나갔다고 합니다.   다음해에 두번째 전시회에서도 오프닝날 모두 팔려 나갔답니다. 그의 작품은 아메리카 개척시대에 욕심없고 순수해 보이는 소시민들의 소박한 삶이 주된 소재라고 합니다.                                                            Eme rald Dreams                Fruit Shiner             Emmie's Catch              Valerie            The Dance           Tristan            Summer's Harvest              Teamwork             Tangerines               Emmie's Rose         Stringbeans           Salon         Reflection       Reflection             Red             Picking Petals             Pampered            Ophelia           Pepper               Morning Oatmeal               Momentary Glance               Mirror, Mirror               Graces               Lillies and Tea             Lemon Girl                   Kitchen Duty            Kissing the face of God           Illumination
