수전 세던 볼릿은 판타지적 인물화에서 부터 

신화적이고 무속적인 인물화까지 여러가지 주제를 다루었다.

동물과 자연에 대한 깊은 사랑에서 뿐만 아니라

신화와 시, 융 심리학 그리고 세계의 무속 등 광범위한 곳으로 부터 영향을 받았다.

주로 유화나 잉크화로 작업을 했으며, 때로는 연필로만 그리기도 하며,

꿈꾸는듯한  형태를 불러 일으키도록 선에 색을 입히는 독특한 스타일을 창조해 내었다.
